Making the supply chain more transparent through blockchain tracking. But what is blockchain?
Provenance is a platform which aims for transparency in the supply chain to help consumers trace the origins of the products they buy.
Jessie Baker of Provenance says, "You can think of a blockchain, as a shared data system that everyone can use in order to be able to trust information. What it's allowed us to do is to have a shared system of record that nobody can tamper with and everybody can see." [source: BBC news].
